Welcome to Jose Vault. By accessing or using our digital card management service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account and using Jose Vault, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our service.

2. Description of Service

Jose Vault is a digital card management platform that allows users to:

• Securely store debit and credit card information
• Manage multiple cards in one centralized location
• Access card details from any device with an internet connection
• Toggle visibility of sensitive card information
• Customize card appearances with colors and themes

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use Jose Vault, you must create an account by providing:

• A valid username
• A valid email address
• Your age (you must be at least 13 years old)
• A secure password

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Using a strong, unique password

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms of Service
• You engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
• Your account has been inactive for an extended period
• We are required to do so by law

4. Data Storage and Security

4.1 Data Storage

Your card information is stored securely using Google Sheets as our backend database. While we implement security measures, you acknowledge that:

• No method of electronic storage is 100% secure
• You use the service at your own risk
• We are not liable for unauthorized access to your data

4.2 Data Encryption

We use industry-standard encryption methods to protect your data during transmission and storage. However, this is a demonstration project and should not be used for storing real, sensitive financial information in a production environment.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to use Jose Vault to:

• Store stolen or fraudulent card information
• Engage in any illegal activities
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Harvest or collect user information without consent

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Jose Vault, including but not limited to:

• Text, graphics, logos, and images
• Software code and design
• User interface and user experience

are the exclusive property of Jose Vault and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

IMPORTANT: Jose Vault is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Accuracy, reliability, or availability of the service

We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jose Vault and its developers shall NOT be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Statements or conduct of any third party
• Any other matter relating to the service

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the service (which is currently $0).

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Jose Vault, its developers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Any content you submit or transmit through the service

10. Third-Party Services

Jose Vault uses third-party services, including:

• Google Sheets - For data storage
• Google Apps Script - For backend functionality
• FontAwesome - For icons

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Severability
